I believe we all need to know how valuable and important we are.  We need to know who we are and understand where we fit in this ever-changing world.

As a Christian who has grown up in a traditional church setting, I have seen how easily some can feel like they don't fit in.  It certainly was the case for me.  

​

I have lots of labels that describe what I do, and some to describe what I have achieved, but not all of them help me to know my value and find a place to fit.

​

I know God is with me, by my side, and holds my identity and gives me value, but He also wants us to build relationships and make connections. 

​

I want to connect with you, to build a relationship, and to help you build a closer relationship with God.  

​

Ruth and Naomi's story is at the heart of ruth1sixteen, and biology never even comes into play.  We can encourage, nurture, support, equip, mentor, and most importantly love because God made us to do so.
